Why Are We Different?
WHAT WE OFFER
- Independently represented and paid by Cooperstown All Star Village.
- Experience in officiating a quality youth baseball international tournament.
- Participation in Cooperstown All Star Village Opening Ceremonies
- Call a minimum of three games per day at $75 per game.
REQUIREMENTS
- Umpires must be 18 years old or older.
- Umpires must be in good standing with a current association.
- Umpires must submit an Umpire Application form, a background check, and be approved by Cooperstown All Star Village prior to attending.

Standard & Plate Equipment
Standard Equipment
- Polished, black athletic shoes. Either turf shoe or flat bottom.
- Black socks.
- Charcoal gray slacks.
- Black leather belt.
- Officiating tools: pencil and indicator.
- Long sleeve rain jacket
Plate Equipment
- Mask
- An inside chest protector.
- Shin guards
- Plate brush.
- Protective plate shoes.
For the Barracks
- Twin sized bedding including sheets, blankets, and pillows.
- Extra sheets for privacy
- Toiletries including toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and body wash, and any other personal needs.
- Extra leisure clothing
- Towels and shower shoes
What we provide
- Six nights lodging in Cooperstown All Star Village Umpire Barracks.
- Three meals per day provided at the Cooperstown All Star Village Dining Facility starting on day 2 of the tournament.
- Two Cooperstown All Star Village Under Armour umpire polos, one black and one powder blue.
- An Under Armour short-sleeve pullover
- A Dome Headwear CASV hat
- Two Cooperstown All Star Village umpire ball bags.
- A ticket to the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
- An exclusive Cooperstown All Star Village Ring.
- CASV Champions ring if selected to officiate the championship game.
